Patan
Patan is one of the major cities of Nepal located in the south-central part of Kathmandu Valley. It is best known for its' rich cultural heritage, particularly its tradition of arts and crafts.

Marvel at the sights offered by the Patan Durbar Square, and the Krishna Temple, which holds a commanding position in the palace complex of Patan. Get a glimpse of the only temple in Nepal with 21 spires and entirely made out of stone. You may view the temple at a distance due to ongoing restoration efforts following the earthquake. You will also have the opportunity of seeing the Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Golden temple of Lord Buddha. The golden temple is a Newari Buddhist Monastery, with a courtyard and exterior accessible to all for a glimpse of many beautiful, intricately detailed artifacts.
