Situated in the south-central part of the Kathmandu Valley, explore the city of Patan and immerse in its rich cultural heritage through many of its historic sights. Get a glimpse of the only temple in Nepal with 21 spires and entirely made out of stone. You may view the temple at a distance due to ongoing restoration efforts following the earthquake. You will also have the opportunity of seeing the Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Golden temple of Lord Buddha. The golden temple is a Newari Buddhist Monastery, with a courtyard and exterior accessible to all for a glimpse of many beautiful, intricately detailed artifacts.
