Mancora is a charming beach town on Peru's northern coast, a short hop away from Lima and something of a surfer's paradise. Being close to the equator it enjoys year-round sunshine and constantly has a buzzing atmosphere. A few kilometres south of Mancora town there is a gorgeous stretch of golden sand where you can find the charming and intimate boutique hotel, Kichic. A stay here will leave you feeling utterly relaxed, with plenty of focus on health & wellness, as well as yoga, delicious home grown ingredients served at meal times and that constant sea breeze.
With just 9 rooms and suites, service at Kichic is highly personalised. The design is rustic yet luxurious and offers plenty of creature comforts, with high thread-count linens, plush bathrobes, large TVs, AC and ceiling fans. Some of the suites have spectacular ocean views, while others look out over the hotel gardens yet still provide easy access to the oceanfront pool and the sparkling sea beyond.
When it comes to dining there is plenty of choice, with a vegetarian restaurant which utilises a number of ingredients from the hotel's organic garden, and a fish bar which serves up the day's freshest catch, making the most of those distinctive Peruvian flavours.
