Just 30km upstream from the falls, the lodge combines an excellent location to enable guests to enjoy the variety of activities available in the area, but also to relax in this magical location with the mighty Zambezi at your feet.
There are two lodges at Royal Chundu, River Lodge consists of just ten riverside villas, 4km upstream on Katombora Island is Island Lodge with just four villas - a great option for families and groups of friends to take over on an exclusive basis.
This is the first and still the only Zambian lodge to have Relais & Chateau status, as part of this exclusive club of worldwide properties, you can be sure that the staff and service levels are of the highest quality.
