For something different, head inland to experience the gorges and rolling hills of the Turrialba Valley, or try an exhilarating kayak down the rapids of the Pacuare river, catching your breath as you take in the beautiful surrounding landscapes and wildlife.

Or, for those just looking to kick back and relax, the glorious beaches of Puerto Viejo and Tortuguero are ideal locations for unwinding and soaking up some sunshine. If you want a bit of adventure, you can always try surfing or diving in the Caribbean Sea.
