COMO Le Montrachet faces a village square, just a few steps from the legendary 'Le Montrachet' vineyard in Burgundy where some of the world's finest French wines are produced.

Peak season in Burgundy is July to August when sunshine is guaranteed and festivals are plenty. For music lovers, a jazz and classical music festival in Beaune will catch your fancy, while the 'vendange' or grape harvest season in August is a must for oenophiles. The cooler weather of spring and autumn — April to June, then September through October — is also perfect for exploring and admiring the change in color of the vines.

Paola Navone Otto Studio's redesign of COMO Le Montrachet is elegant in its translation of the esprit du lieu, while filtered with a contemporary approach. Thanks to a careful choice of materials, manufacturing techniques, and finishes, the spaces and interiors of the hotel are distinguished with custom-designed furnishings and a particular palette to echo the surrounding countryside.

The hotel has 30 rooms and suites with accents of blue, green, and grey. The rooms are named in reference to the traditional French village, and most of them look out over the village square.

Le Montrachet restaurant features refined French dishes, including Charolais beef, pike-perch from the Saône, and the chef's year-round specialty, cereal-crusted pigeon. The menus change with every season to match local producers' best offerings. Dishes here are also fine-tuned to pair with the sommeliers' recommendations. The wine list includes the best bottles from the region's vineyards, including the most prestigious winegrowing estates in the Côte de Beaune, the Côte de Nuits, and Burgundy itself.

Romain Versino has been the head chef at Le Montrachet since 2018, specializing in classic French cuisine with modern touches. He was born in Annonay, Ardèche, where he developed as an apprentice before moving to Antibes in the South of France for more experience. Chef Versino has cooked at several well-known luxury hotels in his career.
