Just a four-hour train journey from Tokyo, Hida Takayama is a charming village with a traditional atmosphere, nestled amongst Japan’s snowy Alps. The hotel has a range of dining options, with each restaurant using local ingredients. The main Rosiere restaurant serves buffet-style meals with wonderful views of the Japanese Alps. As well as a teppanyaki corner, guests can also enjoy noodle dishes, curry dishes, seafood and sushi, and a range of desserts such as fruit tarts and chocolate mousse. Kaun serves delicious seafood dishes and has a sushi counter. Yushokuraku is a casual yet traditional Japanese restaurant and bar, and The Scenery Lounge and the Estmare Bar serve drinks and local sake.
