Angama Safari Camp is located deep in the Masai Mara on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, home to the Great Migration from July to October each year. The camp is exclusive-use only, so guests staying here can expect total privacy with friends and family. There are 4 ensuite tents, accommodating up to 8 guests; however, owing to the camp's personalized nature, if you only need one tent, then only one tent will be prepared for your stay.
Each of the 4 suites have been designed to maximize on the spectacular views outside, as well as provide bright space inside. Each suite features an extra king bed, separate dressing room, a spacious ensuite bathroom, and a double bucket shower. The tents have been tastefully designed, touching on much-loved features from its sister property, Angama Mara, with furniture by renowned designer John Vogel.
The camp also features a cozy guest area where delicious meals are cooked and served. Here guests can also lounge with a good book, and afternoon tea can be enjoyed outside in a little gazebo. If alfresco is more your thing, then spectacular campfires or packed picnics under shady trees can also be arranged. Although the camp is separate from its sister property, Angama Mara, guests still have access to lodge facilities, such as the swimming pool, fitness center and photographic studio.
Being an exclusive-use camp, no experience or stay at Angama Safari Camp is alike, and staff ensure that is truly the case. Each day the camp team, as well as the guide, will plan your day ahead from spectacular sunrise breakfasts to sundowners. With its location right in the heart of the Maasai Mara, there is also an abundance of wildlife to go in search for, just a mere drive away from the camp - keep your camera ready for sightings of elephant, cheetah and leopards. Following a busy day of game drives, guests can then return to the comfort of the camp where nights are spent under the stars.
