Let the wonder of this chic eco-resort wash over you as you soak up the beauty, majestic culture and paradise beaches of this special island off Mozambique. Kisawa is an innovative concept and the first of its kind. Entrepreneur and creator Nina Flohr’s strong vision has cleverly combined environmental sustainability and ultimate luxury with Mozambican culture and design.

The resort is home to eight bungalow residences including the Kisawa Residence, arranged in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations each sitting within its own one-acre plot offering a high level of peace and privacy. Each residence has its own personalized interior, a private beach, open air-deck, infinity pool, outdoor lounge and dining area, and massage hut. Local artisans have also been commissioned to work on carpentry, textiles, thatched roofs and traditional Mozambican weaving.

Nestled amongst a sanctuary of forest, beach and sand dunes with crystal clear blue waters, in the Bazaruto Archipelago, within the National Marine Park which is home to some of the richest and least explored subtropical ecosystems in the Indian Ocean. The resort offers an array of diving and snorkeling excursions, as well as a plethora of other land and water activities to enjoy making the most of this unique location, with a water sports center, gym and yoga and meditation pavilion. The standalone spa offers a refuge to indulge in relaxation specializing in traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic treatments, including massage and detox retreats. A program of family friendly activities is also available including open ocean safaris and pizza making classes.
