With just seven rooms in total, Lekkerwater Beach Lodge will be an intimate and cozy lodge to provide guests with a comfortable stay and is ideally located to explore all the reserve has to offer. Natural Selection are well known for building and maintaining lodges that are eco-conscious, and Lekkerwater is no different. The lodge has been built on the land that was once used for FW De Klerk's retreat and generates electricity through solar and wind power, along with the use of grey water treatment and a zero single-use plastic policy.

Lekkerwater's prime location along the South African coast means it is the perfect spot to visit from July to November for a spot of land-based whale watching. These magnificent animals migrate and birth along the south coast of South Africa and can often be seen from land.
