Morukuru Ocean House is a private house so you have complete privacy and the choice to plan each day as it comes. Each of the four bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and spectacular ocean views. There is also a small study which can be converted into a children's bedroom with bunk beds. The interiors of the property are modern and tasteful and the colour scheme has been inspired by the fynbos dunes. The house itself is set just back from a 51 kilometre long pristine white sand beach back by limestone cliffs and coastal fynbos, and has been built so it operates on 100% solar power and with an eco-friendly and sustainable focus.
Morukuru Ocean House offers a unique view over one of Africa's largest whale nurseries and from mid-July through to November you can enjoy the views of the southern right whales as they migrate towards the coastal basins off the Overberg Coast for the calving and nursing season.
At Morukuru, you can choose to do as much or as little as you wish. Take advantage of the beautiful surroundings with guided walks and hikes, bike rides, sand boarding, picnics, cave tours, quad biking and 4x4 fynbos safaris.
