Average time to visit

The only time to avoid Kenya is during the long rainy season in April and May. The most popular time is during the great Wildebeest Migration which tends to pass through the Mara between mid July to late October. The Seychelles are a wonderful year round destination with temperatures ranging from 24c to 31c all year round.

Itinerary

Fly to Nairobi
Day 1-4

Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya

Connect in Nairobi for the Maasai Mara and fly to the spectacular, Angama Mara. Sitting atop the Oloololo Escarpment, offering unrivaled views across the Mara plains. After taking some time to relax in the opulent surroundings venture out to roam the Kenyan plains alongside wildebeest, elephants, lions, leopards, zebra, giraffe and many others. The Great Migration itself arrives at the beginning of July before heading back to Tanzania mid-October.

Your private guides will fascinate you with details about the wildlife in this extraordinary part of the world and from bush BBQs to champagne picnics or sundowners you will be treated like royalty at every turn. If you are looking for more than game drives, there is so much else to do from walking safaris outside the reserve to hot air balloon rides from which you can witness everything from a new perspective. Your luxurious tent sits on a raised platform above the bush so whether you are enjoying a romantic bubble bath, relaxing in bed, or having cocktails on your deck you will be able to gaze out over the endless landscape.

Explore the African bush on foot with your experienced guide and tracker. A fantastic opportunity to experience a different perspective, away from the noise of a safari vehicle.
