The hotel comprises several original Portuguese houses dating back to 1680, with stone walls and terracotta tiled roofs. The integrity of the houses have been carefully maintained and the interiors lovingly and tastefully restored into seven rooms and a family house, as well as a charming bistro restaurant. Combining original interior stone walls with bright white furnishings, oatmeal colored armchairs, the rooms have a cozy and relaxed feel.
There are pretty gardens leading down to the river and some rooms overlook the river while others overlook the characterful cobbled streets.
